LAMA is a GIS and SQL based Land Management Solution for Local Governments. LAMA may be provided as a Software as a Service (SaaS) housed in our cloud, or hosted on premise by your institution. Our Software is most often used for Development and Enforcement, a suite comprised of four main modules that can be implemented separately. Additional modules for asset/inventory tracking, maintenance activity, and property disposition are also available and have been incorporated into best practices by major cities, like New Orleans and Philadelphia, facing complex blight eradication challenges. We also have a public web CRM, a mobile application, and a development review markup that is integrated with the above.

Development Planning

LAMA’s Planning, Projects and Development Review module is valued for its ability to organize the submission and review of complex information and processes. Projects can be routed through staff reviews, resubmittals, and meetings. Generate agendas, share submitted plans, and follow project conditions through the permitting phase.

Code Enforcement

LAMA’s Code Enforcement module is straight-forward and easy to use. Track cases from the complaint to resolution (abatement with work orders, or adjudication). Inspectors can use mobile devices in the field to take and attach photos and print notices.

Use a wizard to create a new code incident.
Without leaving the wizard, schedule an inspection.
If it was inspected and a violation exists, go straight to creating a violation.
Select one or more violations from a classification tree, or enter a word or phrase and let LAMA find any applicable ordinance provisions.
Select the violation, and let LAMA suggest a fact pattern incorporating that violation.
Edit and save the fact pattern, or create your own and add it to LAMA.
Apply violations from the International Property Maintenance Code.
Use violations from your local code (property maintenance, nuisance, garbage pickup, junk and debris, animals, vegetation and weeds).
Define a default date or schedule a specific time for a reinspection.

Licensing

The Licensing module is a comprehensive, and innovative management system for all types of licenses, registrations, and certifications. This module manages issuance, renewal, inspections, and fee payments.

(Recommended for rental housing, health permits/inspections, fire safety licensing, liquor licenses, and more).

Licenses can be associated to any combination of parcels, addresses, persons, businesses, or vehicles.

Electronic Plan Review

Allow developers, contractors, and homeowners to submit plans electronically with their permit and development applications. Our software enables the electronic mark-up of submitted plans and management of the correction and resubmittal process.

Associate contractors with a permit; have LAMA automatically check for the status of licenses, insurance, etc., and warn or prevent the use of a contractor if any of the items are not current.

Online Applications + Tracking (Social Distancing)

Many jurisdictions that use LAMA are enabling employees to work remotely in order to maintain productivity, increase connectivity, and provide for continuous applications regardless of the endpoint. There are several ways to enable remote work and minimize using our system.

Eliminate In-Person Contact - Allow residents to apply from home on their smart phone on home computer using our online portal, which allows you to enforcement required information and uploads and automates applicant notifications via email. We can integrate with most payment platforms. Imagine downloading a permit to post without visiting "City Hall."
Remote Online Workspaces – The “OneStop” or “onlama” application can be used by staff and inspectors to view and complete reviews and inspections over home internet. We will guide you through the process of establishing staff user accounts and provide training help.
Inspections without Office Attendance – LAMA MIA is our iPhone and Android Application that allows inspectors to view their assigned inspections, complete them in the field, and upload photos without coming into contact with other staff and while maintain a safe distance from the public.

Our Work Orders, Infrastructure and Asset Management module has recently been redesigned to meet the ever growing challenges of municipalities, both large and small. The system is user-friendly with a customizable interface. Our work wizards and dialog boxes will step you through the process, allowing you to keep your projects and service calls organized better than ever before. LAMA’s Work Orders module integrates your infrastructure, asset management, and inventory, while documenting tasks, completed actions, materials used, labor and much more.

Assets + Inventory

With our Assets and Inventory Module, local governments can track both real and movable property. Managers gain the ability to view maintenance and related inventory on Public Assets. This allows you to track details of the last time critical equipment was repaired or whether additional materials will be needed as part of a remodel. In combination with our Work Orders Module, you will be able to locate and assign staff and quickly report on productivity and costs.

Land Disposition + Expressions of Interest

The module will allow your jurisdiction to show a listing of owned properties. This allows you to track details of the inventories of properties, including property status (Available/Under Consideration/Not Available/etc.), current lease(s) type(s), property reservations, work orders, and the acquisition and disposition of the asset.
